Reekado Banks, whose real name is Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He was born on December 6, 1993, in Lagos, Nigeria. Reekado Banks started his music career in 2008 when he was just 15 years old, but he gained widespread recognition after signing with Mavin Records in 2014.

Reekado Banks released his first single "Turn It Up" in 2014, which was well received by the public. He followed up with the hit single "Katapot," which was an instant success and further cemented his place in the Nigerian music industry. He continued to release hit singles such as "Sugar Baby," "Oluwa Ni," and "Standard," which all became popular among his fans.

In 2016, Reekado Banks won the Next Rated award at The Headies, a prestigious Nigerian music award ceremony. He also released his debut album, "Spotlight," which featured collaborations with top Nigerian artists such as Wizkid, Falz, and Patoranking.

Reekado Banks has since continued to release hit songs, including "Like" featuring Tiwa Savage and Fiokee, "Blessings on Me," and "Rora." He has also collaborated with international artists such as Sarkodie, Vanessa Mdee, and DJ Tunez.

In addition to his music career, Reekado Banks is also a philanthropist and has been involved in various charity projects in Nigeria. He has also been recognized for his contribution to the Nigerian music industry, receiving numerous awards and nominations for his work.

In 2018, Reekado Banks parted ways with Mavin Records and founded his record label, Banks Music. He has continued to release music under his new label and has also signed new artists to his record label.
